Privacy policy

When you send an inquiry, apply for a place, reserve a tour, or apply for a job, we keep what you type into that form. Depending on the form that includes your name, email address, phone number, your child's name and date of birth, and the answers you give us about your family and your child. Our admissions applications ask detailed questions about your child's development, health and home life. We ask because our teachers need to know your child before their first day, not for any other purpose.

To reply to you, to run our admissions process, and to prepare for your child joining us. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the school except where we are required to by law or by our licensing obligations.

Our website and its database are hosted by Supabase, and transactional email is sent through Resend. Both hold data on our behalf. Information is transmitted over an encrypted connection.

This website counts its own page views — a number per page per day, with no cookies and nothing recorded about any individual visitor. Our hosting provider also gives us anonymous, cookie-free statistics such as overall visitor numbers. Neither can identify you, which is why this site shows no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Our applications are long, so they save as you go. If you ask us to email you a link back to a part-finished application, that link is the only thing needed to open it. Please keep it to yourself, and take care when forwarding it.

Information about a child is provided by their parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through this website.

Photographs of our classrooms and grounds may appear on this site. We seek permission before publishing a photograph in which a child is identifiable. If you would like a photograph removed, tell us and we will take it down.

You can ask us what we hold about your family, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to office@boulderwaldorf.com and we will help. Some records we are obliged to keep for licensing reasons.
