Financial aid

Universal Preschool (UPK)

Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten is pleased to participate in the State of Colorado's Universal Preschool (UPK) program in the 2026/2027 school year. Available spots are limited, and priority goes to families currently enrolled. Children enrolled through UPK join our mixed-age Preschool/Kindergarten program with children ages 2.5 to 5.

CCAP

We are proud to participate in Boulder County's CCAP program in our Preschool/Kindergarten program. Please note that CCAP is not available in our Toddler program. If you are a CCAP applicant, please say so in the comments section of your application.

Choosing your schedule

Your application asks for your top two weekly schedule preferences. If you choose a three or four day option, you are not limited to specific days of the week. We do our best to accommodate every family, within the limits of availability.

  • Currently enrolled families receive priority in choosing their schedule.
  • New families choosing a four or five day schedule get priority over those choosing three days.
  • Wednesday is our most popular day. If you request Wednesday — especially on a three-day schedule — please be prepared that we may not be able to offer it in your first year.
